1. Introductory provisions
These terms and conditions govern the use of the Schola Ludus web application (hereinafter referred to as the “service”), which serves as a support tool for pedagogical work, in particular for lesson planning and didactic reflection.
By using the service, the user confirms that he has read and agrees to these terms and conditions.
2. Service provider
The content and pedagogical part of the service is provided by Czech Pedagogical Chamber, z. s., based in the Czech Republic.
The technical operation and development of the application is provided by Thowt LLC, based in the United States of America.
3. User group
The Projects service is intended exclusively for adults, in particular:

teachers,
-
pedagogical staff,
-
lecturers and other persons active in education.
The service is not intended for children or pupils and should not be used directly by pupils.
4. Nature of the Service and Outputs
The Service uses artificial intelligence tools to generate text suggestions, structures and inspirations.
The User acknowledges that:

the outputs are generated automatically,
-
may not be complete, accurate or error-free,
-
do not represent a professional, legal or pedagogical opinion,
-
serve exclusively as a basis and inspiration.
Schola Ludus does not replace the professional judgment of the teacher or his responsibility for the content of the teaching.
5. User Responsibility
The user is fully responsible for:

the way in which the outputs of the service are used,
-
their modification, verification and integration into teaching,
-
the compliance of the resulting content with applicable legal regulations, framework educational programs and internal school rules.
The operator is not responsible for:
-
decisions made based on the outputs of the service,
-
damages resulting from their use or incorrect interpretation,
-
content created by the user based on suggestions application.
6. Protection of personal data and sensitive content
The user undertakes:

not to enter personal data of students,
-
not to enter sensitive data within the meaning of the GDPR,
-
not to submit confidential or internal school documents.

7. Prohibited Uses
The User may not:
-
use the service in violation of legal regulations,
-
abuse the service for mass automated content generation,
-
attempt to circumvent technical limitations,
-
use the service to create content that is unlawful, discriminatory or harmful.
8. Service Availability
The Operator reserves the right to:
-
temporarily limit or interrupt the service,
-
change its functions or scope,
-
terminate the service.
The Service is provided “as is”, without any guarantee of continuous availability.
9. Intellectual Property
The texts, structure of the application and its design are protected by copyright.
The user has the right to:
-
use the generated outputs for their own pedagogical practice,
-
further modify and incorporate them into their work.
The operator does not claim copyright to the outputs created by the user based on the generated proposals.
10. Final provisions
The operator reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
The current version is always available on the service website.
The use of the service is governed by the legal system of the Czech Republic.
